This is where it all started, folks. Riley here. -hugglestodeath-
This is my Riley. She's a black lab and chow chow mix, which accounts for her black coat, laid down ears, somewhat of a face shape (lab)and stocky appearance, thicker coat, curled tail, etc (chow). She's the sweetest dog in the world, and I would surely die for her, because she's my best friend in the whole wide world. Riley is very intellegent, and I'm not just saying that. There's few things that this dog doesn't know how to do.
I rescued Riley from a humane society a little ways from where I live now when she was just six weeks old, and now she's 5. Her birthday is June 20th, so she'll be 6 in like, half a year. I feel like time's gone by way too fast.
What really makes me upset is that since I moved from my Dad's house to my Mom's, there's no room in this small house and no yard to keep Riley here with me, so she's still over there at my Dad's house. That wouldn't seem a problem, except that I no longer get along with my Dad and stepmom, and don't get to go over there unless I am dropping my younger brother off from school and I get a glance of Riley. These last couple months have been eating away at me, knowing that she's only a couple miles away but I can't even go see my own dog. Problems get worse, as well, because I know for a fact my Dad won't give up Riley, because once I moved out, he said that she no longer was my dog. Which made me want to shoot him, and steal her. I just wish I had could keep her.. so much, that I often-times just cry thinking about it. She's my best friend, and I can't even be there to take care of her. Whenever I drop off my brother occasionally, she's so excited when I come, and when I have to drive away, she stands in the middle of the lane, watching me go until I reach the highway and get out of sight.
I wish I could, but I know I can't. Which crushes me every minute of every day.
My dear.
OMFG! -tackles- I luffs! I wants!!! I'm stealing your puppy! Want my big stinky one XD! She's brilliant! I love her
On a heavier tone.... I'm sorry... you can have my big stinky puppy. He may be fat but he's nice... he scares people though

Hehe, Riley is also a bit overweight, but since she has a normally stocky built it's hard to tell, plus all that thick hair!! Thanks though, it means a lot that you said something ^^
What kind of puppy is yours anyways?

..Riley is so gorgeous! I know i've said it before, but shes BEAUTIFUL. I love her and I don't even really -know- her, just what you've told me about her, and photos and such. But she seems like such a brilliant dog, she looks like one of those dogs that would love and protect their owners [you ^^] through anything. Don't worry, i'm sure she understands, in some sortof doggy way.
^^ .
